Academic Writing and Research Skills
Course Introduction
The purpose of this course is to (re)introduce students to the demands and conventions of academic writing. The course focuses on writing as a product and as a process. We tackle the broader concepts of quality across a number of university-linked assignments that MBA students are required to write e.g. essays, cases, reflective essays, and so on.
Course Lecturer
Dr. Anna Nikoulina has a PhD in Management from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). She also has an MBA from the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. She has more than ten years of teaching experience in institutions of higher education. Her research interests include education for sustainable development, competence development and teaching and learning in business education. Prior to moving to Switzerland, Anna worked and lived in London, New York, Moscow, and Houston. Her professional background is marketing and covers oil & gas sector, consumer electronics, real estate management industries.
